The Explore Hamilton Missouri website is dedicated to both the residents of this town, the small businesses here with no online presence, and the community that needs the ability to communicate effectively on the many activities, events, celebrations, services and fundraisers happening within this town. It is also dedicated to serve up the information that potential visitors, tourists and people who may want to know more about our town are looking for when they go online.
We are so very lucky to have so many people in this town who care deeply about its success and its residents. We have both a Chamber of Commerce and a Hamilton Community Alliance, A Legion and a Lion's Club as well as a vibrant quilting community here. This website is a long term project with the goal of having a central place for all of this information in one website to bring this community together.

There is the famous Hamilton Hotel and the equally famous Quilt Retreat center where you will be cared for like family. There is also camping, glamping and an RV park. It's not uncommon to see many American flags showcasing small town pride in our country.
If you love plants and gardening you'll be delighted to find many local greenhouses in the area some of whom are run by our Amish neighbors and it's likely you pass the odd horse and buggy or see them set up on main street selling local produce and baking.
Hamilton also has 3 gas stations, a laundromat , a huge bowling alley serving up food, fun and drinks as well a local grocery store that's open 7 days a week. There's also a beautiful 9 hole golf course on Hamilton Lake and a gorgeous wedding barn called the Pearl close by.
